Camas Mist Cheyenne was my first Morgan baby. She is out of my late riding mare, Salamans Sable, by the cutting and reining stallion, Cream Ridge Mirzay, who is by the great cutting horse, Mortana Pat. She is a healthy 14.3 hands with a very sweet disposition. She is green broke to ride, has a very expressive face and loves attention. Her foals have been exceptional; big bodied with good bone and very athletic. Cheyenne survived colic surgery 4 yrs ago and produced her first foal since then – a colt by Beauduste Legacy. Cheyenne is 100% Foundation.
Cream Ridge Mirzay Kischi is by the champion
cutting stallion, Liz’s Blackjack, which makes her a half sister to our stallion, Liz’s Black Hawk.
She has her mother and sister’s sweet disposition and deep-bodied conformation of her sire.
She is green broke to ride and really loves attention. Kischi
has had two foals for us by Camas Mist Sunrise Walker: Camas Mist
Tamarack, a beautiful, typey buckskin filly who we are retaining, and
Camas Mist Red Rose, an equally nice chestnut filly who you can see on the For Sale page.
Kishi had a lovely
black filly by Beauduste Legacy this year and I am seriously
thinking of keeping her (just love blacks, especially nice ones).
Kishi is 100% Foundation.
Liz's Blackjack This beautiful Canadian bred Morgan has everything going for her. Conformation-wise she has it all, but in the temperament department she goes to the head of the class. Ally puts her heart and soul into everything she does and her presence is like a daily dose of sunshine. Shato's Chocolate Almonds is a KRP Cocoa daughter out of a mare that goes back to the Rockfield horses. Ally has very laid back, sweet tempered foals. Her 2006 perlino son, Camas Mist Cougar Ice, is now the junior stallion at Thunderhead Morgan Farm in Moscow, ID.

TUR-V DOUBLE DIAMOND (Dia H Paydirt x Dia H Vali) 2000 chestnut mare Tur-V Double Diamond, aka DD, is an in-your-pocket type horse. She is very correct in type and is gaited to boot. She comes from the long-established breeding program of Bill and Lea Hieb, with bloodlines going back to Speedramp Walker, Teton Abe, Red Mountain Alexa, and Timberline Coal. DD stands about 14.3 hands. I got her as a riding horse for me since I have back issues but she has done well as a mother also. She had a sabino gray colt by RDK’s Quick Silver this year. Still trying to determine if he is gaited or not. Still learning in this area.

ESTRELLIA (Ida-Ho Sir Patrick x Silent Hawk) 1993 chestnut mare 15+hds and built! I was so glad to acquire this mare - I have always admired Mortana Pat and she is a granddaughter of this great horse. I have a cousin to Estrellia (aka Cherry) in Camas Mist Cheyenne. Their sires were full brothers. Cherry is broke to ride, has cow sense, and a very friendly disposition. She is a solid, well put together mare. Cherry had an ‘oops’ foal by our junior stallion, Camas Mist Little Joe; a black filly that is very nice. Cherry qualifies as 100% Foundation (no modern outcrosses after 1930).

SABLE NIGHTINGALE (JMF Boogie Beam X Snowdancer's Shadow Magic) 2001 black mare By the great sire, JMF Boogie Beam, "Snip" was used as a trail horse and has had recent training as a hunter/jumper. She is about 15 hds and a sweet as they come. Snip is a great horse to be around, takes everything in stride, doesn’t get bothered, ready to go when you are. She has had two nice foals, but I like her more as a riding horse. She had a chestnut filly by RDK’s Quick Silver this year. View her video on youtube, and here is another one.

CAMAS MIST TAMARACK (Camas Mist Sunrise Walker x Camas Mist Kischi) 2006 buckskin mare Camas Mist Tamarack, aka Snickers, was born May 4, 2006. Kishi and Sunny produced a buckskin filly. I have wanted a buckskin out of this cross for some time, and she is a nice one. Very trainable, sweet, not real big, maybe 14.1 hands, but still a favorite of mine. Hope to get her riding this fall. 100% Foundation bloodlines.

CAMAS MIST DOLORES ROSE (Liz's Black Hawk X Madawn's Mocha Mia) 2007 brown mare Cams Mist Dolores Rose, named after my late mother, was foaled in 2006 out of my very favorite mare, Madawn’s Mocha Mia and by my beloved Liz’s Black Hawk. Rose is a good sized filly and very sweet and friendly. She is half Waer bred. 100% Foundation.

COUGAR CR FAITHFUL LADY (Farceur's Lady's Man X Brave's Faith) 1997 bay mare Cougar Cr Faithful Lady is a long awaited purchase. I have admired the Hazelwood breeding for some time and was thrilled when Nancy Savage gave me the opportunity to buy this mare. Lady is big bodied, 15+ hds, personality plus and very bold. Broke to ride, she needs more miles but is a lovely addition to our herd. Lady is 100% Foundation.

CAMAS MIST ANGEL (Camas Mist Sunrise Walker X Meri-Go Mistina) 2008 flaxen chestnut filly Camas Mist Angel is out of the late Merri-Go Mistina, who had not had a foal for 10 yrs prior to Angel. At the age of 24, she gave birth to Angel, which a think is close to a miracle. Angel may make 14 hds eventually, but she is very sweet and definitely a keeper. Angel is 100% Foundation.

Camas Mist Ariel is my sweet little palomino filly out of the late Marvelous Ideals Gem, one of Marvelous Ideal’s last daughters.
Ariel is very laid back, even a bit timid like her dam but so pretty with copious white mane and tail. Ariel is 100% Foundation.
More photos of Ariel Camas Mist Raven was for sale but I decided to keep her because 1) she is black, and 2) she is by Liz’s Black Hawk and has his loving disposition. Am waiting for her to mature but her dam was predominately Lippitt, so I am hoping she inherits her dam’s build.

![]() ![]() ![]() CAMAS MIST GYPSY SPIRITS (raf) (Wildcard's Gentleman Jack X WAR Black Indyca) 2004 black mare Camas Mist Gypsy Spirits (raf) is a 2004 mare out of WAR Black Indyca and by Wildcards Gentleman Jack. Gypsy was part of a rescue effort and I got her in January 2011. She had not been handled, haltered, or exposed to much. She has become friendly for treats, and likes scratches. She is a very kind mare, since she has relaxed. She is black, might even be smoky black, since her sire is. She presented me with a lovely little buckskin filly in March who is as friendly as the day is long. Not sure who her sire is but I am planning to keep little Sprite anyway.

DDS PRINCE'S SNOWFLAKE (Gold Correll Chinook FD X Lone Dove Riley SRDA) 2005 cremello mare Millie is the sweetest, gentle giant. She is a BIG horse. She is 15+ hds, (I need to measure her), and has great bone and substance. But such an easy, willing disposition. Millie has very correct conformation, a pretty head, and a short back. She is not broke to ride but I think she will be very easy and I can’t wait to get started on her. She has a 2012 smoky black filly at her side. Thank you Bonnie Lang, for the opportunity to have Millie in my herd.
More photos of Millie ![]() (above image is full size) ![]() APH RHYTHM AND BLUES (WMS Laurel Silver Dust X DDS Prince's Snowflake) 2011 smoky black filly Rhythm came with her dam, Millie, last fall. A very sweet, very tall filly, I am sure she will be a big as her dam. She is the epitome of tall and gangly, but you cannot ask for a nicer dispositioned horse. So far, she is willing and amendable to just about anything, which is all that you can expect from a yearling. Looking forward to seeing her grow up.
